Travel Resources
It is somewhat of a minefield when it comes to booking travel and knowing what companies to use. From my experience of travelling and hundreds of hours of research I have put put together a list of the companies I use and my recommendations. This list is constantly updated to showcase the best travel resources / companies out there.

Flights
Google flights lets you see flights all over the world, searching a huge amount of flight options. You can also easily filter to see the cheapest date and airports to travel from.
Momondo is my favourite travel search engine for bookings. I consistently find the cheapest prices here. Searches more booking sites than any other engine.
Skyscanner is another useful search engine and one I always use to price check with other search engines. One of the more popular flight search engines.

Accommodation
Hotels.com is one of my favourite hotel booking platforms, with a great loyalty program to earn free nights and competitive prices.
Booking.com has the most comprehensive selection of accommodation, especially budget accommodation.
Agoda is great for booking guesthouses or hotels in Asia. For everything else I prefer Hotels.com
Travel Insurance
Do not skip on travel insurance. World Nomads specialise in travel insurance and make it easy for all travellers.
Coverwise are typically cheaper than World Nomads and provide great cover. Have used in the past but now prefer World Nomads for ease.
Credit Cards
Amex Gold Card. One of the best travel credit cards out there offering unrivalled flexibility on how to use your points. Free for first year.
BA Amex Premium Plus. Great for UK travellers and the BA Avios programme. Ability to earn 2-4-1 travel voucher worth over £1,000 or in my case exactly £1,400.
Halifax Clarity Card. Great for use abroad with no foreign transaction fees on spend or ATM withdrawals. Get the best exchange rate, every time.

Travel Gear
GoPro Hero 9. Great camera for vloggers and those that love to capture their action shots on camera. Extremely portable.
Vodafone. The best network for international roaming, with free global roaming in up to 81 countries. Take your data anywhere.
Great source of knowledge and a good way to research your destinations to make sure you hit all the must visit spots. Lonely planet do great guides for budget travellers.

Cashback
TopCashback. Great site for getting cashback on all your purchases. Cashback tracks very quickly and well worth it especially on bigger purchases.
Quidco. Offer some of the highest cashback rates but not as quick in tracking or paying out as TopCashback in my experience. Cashback is one of the best travel resources.
Blogging
WordPress. This is the platform I have built this site on and it offers much more functionality than Squarespace and other platforms. WordPress offers hosting capabilities as well.
Elementor Pro. There is a free version and the pro, paid for version. The free version is enough for you to start building your website without any coding. I have the pro and the support is second to none.
Astra theme. An awesome theme and works flawlessly with elementor pro page builder. There is a free version but the paid platform takes what you can do to another level. The free version is great for beginners.
