We are a young…ish couple with very different ideas of what a perfect holiday should look like but a joint love for travel.
I'd love to say I quit my job 3 years ago to travel full time, but will settle for we travel whenever our jobs allow and enjoy sharing our experiences with all of you. With one of us working in finance and the other a school teacher, we are limited as to when we can travel. But we won't let this stop us and you shouldn't too! Find out more about us below.

My day job is finance, having worked my way up the big four accountancy firms in the UK and then moving to industry. It was only after getting married that I found my true calling…travel!
As Nelly the Elly will tell you I love moving around on holidays, I love seeing the country, driving to different destinations and experiencing the culture. Very rarely do we stay in one place, much to the annoyance of Nelly the Elly but we make it work.
Hi I’m Nelly the Elly! Just like the beaver, I love visiting different countries to explore their culture, food and particularly the history.
I work as a teacher and have always dreamed of visiting the countries I teach the history of – Greece, Egypt, Rome and more recently, South America. There is nothing better than standing in the same places where Gladiators and Caesar once stood.
Before our marriage, I preferred staying in one place and travelling out from there but I am slowly adapting to a more fast paced and frenzied approach!
